Happy New Year

Happy New Year evryone. Wow I can not believe it is 2013 ,well almost 2013. Last night we had our New year food my brother was not here so he  could not take pictures. It feels like not that long ago I was trying to watch the ball drop while my brothers jumped up in the air screaming '' HAPPY NEW YEAR ITS 2012!!!!'' This year my brother is visiting a friend and we got a bigger tv so if my brother jumps up I will jump up with him.

A Visit from St. Nicholas

'Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,

In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there;

The children were nestled all snug in their beds;

While visions of sugar-plums danced in their heads;

And mamma in her 'kerchief, and I in my cap,

Had just settled our brains for a long winter's nap,

When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter,

I sprang from my bed to see what was the matter.

Away to the window I flew like a flash,

Tore open the shutters and threw up the sash.

The moon on the breast of the new-fallen snow,

Gave a lustre of midday to objects below,

When what to my wondering eyes did appear,

But a miniature sleigh and eight tiny rein-deer,

With a little old driver so lively and quick,

I knew in a moment he must be St. Nick.

More rapid than eagles his coursers they came,

And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:

"Now, Dasher! now, Dancer! now Prancer and Vixen!

On, Comet! on, Cupid! on, Donder and Blixen!

To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!

Now dash away! dash away! dash away all!"

As leaves that before the wild hurricane fly,

When they meet with an obstacle, mount to the sky;

So up to the housetop the coursers they flew

With the sleigh full of toys, and St. Nicholas too—

And then, in a twinkling, I heard on the roof

The prancing and pawing of each little hoof.

As I drew in my head, and was turning around,

Down the chimney St. Nicholas came with a bound.

He was dressed all in fur, from his head to his foot,

And his clothes were all tarnished with ashes and soot;

A bundle of toys he had flung on his back,

And he looked like a pedler just opening his pack.

His eyes—how they twinkled! his dimples, how merry!

His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!

His droll little mouth was drawn up like a bow,

And the beard on his chin was as white as the snow;

The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth,

And the smoke, it encircled his head like a wreath;

He had a broad face and a little round belly

That shook when he laughed, like a bowl full of jelly.

He was chubby and plump, a right jolly old elf,

And I laughed when I saw him, in spite of myself;

A wink of his eye and a twist of his head

Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread;

He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,

And filled all the stockings; then turned with a jerk,

And laying his finger aside of his nose,

And giving a nod, up the chimney he rose;

He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle,

And away they all flew like the down of a thistle.

But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight—

“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”

Christmas Time Joys

  One of my favorite things about Christmas (  beside the presents ) are the little joys; I will name some. The christmas treats; we always make some delicious cookies.  Sometimes we make sugar cookies and make Christmas tree or reindeer designs. Decorating the tree; we have some very pretty ornaments and glass balls. The Christmas play; every year we do a Christmas play this year it especially fun because I was Mary. Seeing the christmas lights; some times we will get the car and drive around the neighborhood and see the different Christmas lights. The Advent wreath; each night we light the Advent wreath and read a story then sing some Christmas carols. The anticipation of Christmas; I doubt people call that a joy but, counting down the days till christmas is a fun process when we can x-out 24 and circle 25. Then there is Christmas, with all the children shaking boxes and listening to the sound in hopes to figure out what is inside. Then Mother and Father walk downstairs, children look at the stockings and the goods they hold. After breakfast it's presents, they rush to the tree and wrapping paper begins to fly left and right while all the children scream with delight.              

Christmas Play

Today was the christmas play. I was Mary a friend of mine was Joseph. Noah my little nephew was Jesus. I think me , Noah, and  Djibril did a FANTASTIC job!

A Visit

Today my brother Caleb and I went to my sisters house. I love going to her house . We went there to give Eric a haircut but stayed 3 hours. I held Noah my nephew and played with Zoey my niece . I also cleaned her kitchen, witch was fun (; I cant wait till we can have another girls night out at her house.

ITS HERE

FINALLY Thanksgiving is here. I woke up and got in my robe and slippers and went  down our 30 step staircase. I watched  some tv,no one was up.My mom woke up and started the turkey. We watched The Macy Thanksgiving Day Parade. Now at 2:35 we are making potatoes macaroni and all the other yummy stuff. I played with my friend Abbey in her house. I can't wait for the meal!!!

Week Off

This week, is a week off,   NO SCHOOL , ah those 2 words make me so happy. Sorry I have not posted in a long time but I have pretty busy. Who else hates school? I mean school is alright but I love no school instead. Thanksgiving is pretty close and I am to anxious.My whole family is going big shopping like we do every 2 weeks.  

Election

Well last night was the election and ta da Obama won. I really wanted Mitt Romney to win . Well I guess I should feel happy for him . I saw it coming but I should not have . The world likes him because he supports gay marriage and ''woman's health''. The quotation marks mean he supports abortion.  Correct me  if im wrong but that is not woman's health. Same sex marriage is wrong and a woman and man is right. God did not make Adam and STEVE he made Adam and EVE meaning girl and boy. I cant go to hard on him though, he is president. I am just worried that the next four years will be hard ones.

Happy Thanksgiving

I know it is a little early to say that but I am to anxious for it. My mom is just anxious for a coffee called Thanksgiving Blend. My favorite part of Thanksgiving is the parade and the TURKEY. Every   year I get the  Drumstick. ( When I eat I look like a viking not like a messy one). Ahh, the little joys if life (:   This year I am going to get the Drumstick like every other year. 

Halloween

• These are Halloween pictures the lady with the bumble bee baby is my neighbor not my mom.  My mom is  Blessed  Contentment.  I was a school Girl . Don't you love the tie?  

Hurricane

Today we are having a HURRICANE so mad  right  now. The reason why I am mad is because I hate Hurricanes we cant go outdoors and I love going outside. One good thing is there is a breeze so, at night we can crack open our windows. One thing that is out of subject is an amazing movie called ''Henry The  V '' An amazing movie that makes me cry every time the acting is splendid! Well, out of all this my siblings are anxious for Halloween and scared that it will be raining on Halloween but Mother assured them it won't.  This is a pic of my pumpkin. 

Boo - Boy

Boo-boy AKA Jacob makes the  funniest faces. His newest one is taking his hands and pulling on the skin under his eyes. He is so funny! Another hilarious thing is when you take a picture of him he will do a pose like putting his hand on his hip or fake sleeping, he is to funny. One annoying thing is whenever you say, '' Jacob you can't touch that'' He will say, ''Why?'' and you tell him and he will ask why again. Another thing that all little children do is make messes and never  pick them up. He may be bad sometimes, but he still so cute.

PLEASE COME!!!

I am so anxious for Autumn to come and for Winter.  I t has been so hot and we did not go to the beach this Summer TOTAL FAIL. We went swimming but that is not the same. I like Summer for the activities but I love Autumn for everything. Well, I guess Summer is not my favorite season, I think winter is because of the snow. That's all for now.  

Maine

We are going to Maine in 2 days so excited!!! I have never seen my Aunt Sharon before so this will be my first time seeing her. Ugh 2 days feels like 2 months when,of course, in anticipation. Well gotta go GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!!!

My Hannah

• Hannah is the cutest baby in the whole wide world. The thing about her is she dose not sit ,walk,talk or crawl but she is still very cute. Last night I was holding her while my mom took her shower and I took a picture on photo booth and I was trying to make her smile. I clicked on the button that takes the pictures and then she smiled so big and here is the picture 

Maine

My family and I are going to Maine at the end of this month for my Grandma and Grandpa's 50th Anniversary. 5o years is a long time compared to my Mom and Dad whey are 25 years so 50 is a very big difference. My brother Caleb and I are going to sing One Hand One Heart from a Broadway play called West Side Story .It takes 2 days to get to Maine so I am prepared with my snuggie and my pillow to try to sleep!

Friday

Yikes

Well today we had a big spelling test and I got a 88 and Sam got a 74 emma 80 and Naomi 84. I got a 50 on my Math though yikes. I only got a 50 cause I hate math well hate is strong ,I don't like Math I am not very good but last week I got a 90 HOORAY I don't know anybody who likes Math excepy maybe my friend Haley.       

French Toast

Today my little flower dress came well  actually it is a skirt and a shirt. The color of it is a navy blue for the skirt and white for the shirt the thing is it cant be above the knee. I love my shirt because you can roll up the sleeves oh it is just so pretty. The young ones got dresses i like well skirts and shirts. That is all. oh this random this is  Hannah

Summer

I really don't like Summer it is just the beginning and i am already saying ''Ugh I wish Summer was over''. Well at least my friend Abby has a cool toy called Slip And Slide so that cools me off sorta . Anyway night time is the worst it is very hot at night so i am tossing and turning ALL night long that is all

To Long

Sorry it has been to long since I have  written a post so........ Ok then so whats been happening is this SHAYNA IS PREGNANT AHHHHH so happy for her it is a little boy named Noah Joseph and he is do in 20 weeks not to bad but i still cant wait. Zach found a job but he has to travel alot from place to place so he gets some vacations at home but for like 2 weeks then boom gone to New York or someplace else I will have alot of pictures in this post to catch up with my post loss LOL. Nothing new or exiting really oh i know we are going to Maine in August to see my Grandma and Grandpa for there anniversary they will have been married for 50 years!! My parents have been married for 25 years nothing compared to 50! Well tahts really all for know so long  This is Zach and Gen.

Aren't the 2 young ones so cute . Boo-Boy and his little cowboy hat and Hannah . I really think Hannah is the cutest little baby Girl in the whole wide world . Jacob is very cute to both of them are.

Yummy

My brother Caleb made REALLY GOOD brownies and put ice cream on top of them, they were really good. Caleb makes a lot of yummy things. He makes our Birthday cakes and our lunch and it is always very good. I think he said he wants to make his own restaurant in Paris and I bet a lot of people would go to it too.

Colleen

Colleen is a very nice girl I met her at Shayna's wedding and since then we've been very good friends and E-mail buddys, but sometimes I forget to E- mail her back but she never is mad about it and lives life the way it was before . When this blog has at least 400 posts I am going to make a book and get it published.

Shayna's Wedding

Shayna is now married to Eric. Shayna got married in a beautiful, long, white dress and she wore Uggs on her feet. I was a flower girl along with Zoey, Mary, Aleah, Emma and Naomi. My brother Zachary was a groomsman. My brother Caleb was the Photographer with his friend Jenina. My brother Samuel was an usher with Zachary's friend Cameron. We had the reception at Shifting Sands. It was very fun and I am happy that my relatives came from Maine and I am especially happy that my Grandma came. I am happy that our friends the McKennas came. When the reception came to an end Jenina came with us and the next day Shayna came over.
