Happy new year

Well, I just want to say have a very happy New Year and I hope we are not dead in 2013 as silly people have predicted. I hope we do not get hit by a burning ball of rock from space!

Hannah's first bath

On Saturday Hannah had her first bath well kinda her first bath in a baby tub. I think she liked it because she did not cry at all. She is sooooo cute my brother is really good at taking pictures so I think the ones I chose are pretty good so I hope you all like them .

My baby sister

She is the cutest baby IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD . I should have posted more often but she was born 2 weeks ago. The nurse who delivered her said honestly she is cutest baby we fave ever seen.Me and Hannah don't look alike but I love her as if she was my twin.

O my gosh Christmas is so close. I can't wait til December. our tree is already up and decorated and it looks wonderful . I really hope that I go to midnight mass . I think it is funny that Christmas this year is on a Sunday and do you ever wonder what day Jesus was born like Monday or Sunday

My mother is 6 days overdue and we do not know when she will come maybe tonight she will come I will come i hope I get better I am sick and I really want to hold her . i hope that Christmas is going to be great . I have not posted in a long time so i hope this makes up for it. My brother has broke up for 7 hours I bet.well whoever reads this have wonderful Christmas.

BORED OUT OF MY MIND

Just being myself

I was about to write a post when I thought I don't have any pic's for my post so I went on Photo Booth and took some pictures and thought I could put these on my blog. They look a little silly and some look normal, but at least they are pictures so they will work until my brother takes new pictures for my blog. My mom is definitely more caught up with her blog then I am, but I have been trying so I will keep on trying.

My Daddy

Yesterday was my daddy's b–day and my mom posted a post about him but I did not so I am today. My daddy is nice, handsome ,and very funny . He always helps me when I need him in school and my mom is busy. I love my daddy SOOOOOOOO much it is not even funny.

Birthday present

Today me and my mom sewed a bag for my friend Hailey . I think we did a pretty good job . And the good thing is she is always going places for school and needs to pack a bag so that is a good thing we made a bag . I also gave her some princess storybooks.

Autum stew

Today we are having stew it is my day to help my mom we have certain days we help our mom the
recipe is

AUTUMN PORK, VEGETABLE AND ALE STEW

Serves 6-8.

2 pounds pork shoulder, cut into 3/4-inch cubes
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1 12-ounce bottles ale or dark beer (room temperature)
2 14 1/2-ounce cans beef broth
3 tablespoons red wine vinegar
1/4 cup strong coffee
2 carrots, pared and sliced
1 head fennel, cleaned and sliced
4 russet potatoes, scrubbed and cubed
1 red bell pepper, seeded and cut into cubes


Cooking Directions
In large heavy pot with a lid, like a Dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add pork cubes and sauté until browned, about 6 minutes; stir in onion and garlic, cook and stir for 4-5 minutes, until onion is tender. Add flour, allspice, pepper; cook, stirring constantly, for 1-2 minutes. Add ale, broth, vinegar and coffee. Bring to a boil, scrape bottom of pan to loosen any brown bits; cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 30 minutes; uncover and stir in vegetables. Cover and continue to simmer for 30 minutes more, until vegetables are tender. Taste and adjust seasoning, adding salt and pepper as desired.

Wine recommendation: Choose the same ale or dark beer used in the dish, or chill another “autumn”-bodied beer.

Serving Suggestions
This richly-flavored stew is redolent of autumn. The coffee, red wine vinegar and ale give the stew a backbone of assertive flavors.

Change

Holy cow my mom is pregnant AGAIN! It is a little girl and her name is Hannah Claire, but if it was a boy it would be Eli James . My mom only chooses names from the bible like Grace for instance and Samuel . This will be the 10th child. I can't write kid because that means a stubborn baby goat. Shayna is about to move out in September, I am happy for her but I don't like change. I will miss her. I know I will be able to see her sometimes, but it is not the same . Sorry I have not posted in a while .

School

This week was my first week of school. It was fun. The first thing was morning prayer, then we do something called prairie primer, then math , language ,reading. Then we are done. It all starts at around 8:00 to 2:30 so its a pretty good school day . Now that I am in the 5th grade math is hard, but the rest is easy.

Rain and ears

It has been raining for the past 5 days yesterday was a thunderstorm . I was at my friend's house playing then I saw lighting not a flash a bolt of lighting. I got scared, then I heard thunder. Dark clouds started to come, I told them good bye and ran home . As I was running my brother was leaving somewhere, so as I was saying I was running home, he stopped and said ''Hey, Grace do you like my earrings ?'' When he had told my mom on the phone I thought he was kidding, no way he was not kidding. So just as I stepped on my porch it started to pore. Mom and dad were mad about his earrings and had him take them out and let the holes close up.

Plants and grilling.

Well, the thing is we bought new plants . About a week after that we got our house pressure washed.The last time we got our house washed we did not have bleach in the water or plants so this year we got it washed with a some plants that were right where the water would go, might I add the bleach water! So, he washed the house and the next day all the plants had drank bleach. This is just a little something I just wanted to add... I know how to grill ! I don't start the fire of course, but I do the rest!!!

Supper.....

I was looking foreword for supper but now not so much .We wear going to have eggs and sausage but apparently not any more ! And I was looking foreword to it but now we are making something else every time we are going to make something yummy we just have to make something that is super gross. Now I know not to look foreword to supper cuss ah I now the excitement wont last for long.

Our new Church

Today is the day we will have a new Church. It is also the day I have a sleepover with my friend. I am so exited I can hardly wait, but I have to wait until 2:30 and it's only 9:21. It will be a beautiful Church, I know it will. It has stained glass windows and lots of room. Now me and my family will be able to sit together. Sorry I haven't been doing that much posting lately.

My Bff Bailey

Today is not a fun day because none of my friends are home, so I am bored !! If Alaine comes home I will play with her, but she is doing Saturday shopping. I think I would rather be with my brother and his friend saying Gracie and Caleb (Not my brother)sitting in a tree K-I-S-S-I-N-G(That is GROSS .) So that is how bored I am! Val's sleepover

Next week me and Val, my best friend, are having a sleepover and I am sooo exited !!! It will be my 2nd sleepover for I haven't had many. She and I have been waiting and waiting for abut 2 months!!! She is coming for 2 days and we will go to church together. I've known her since I was 8 and now I am 10 and she 12 . Valerie will always be my best friend no matter what!!!!!

Bath Night

Tonight is bath night yaaay I love this night .I love taking a warm bath. Genesis is here and my brother, Zoe and Gen are going to Cafe Mocha .They are going to watch a concert there(My brother calls it guys that work at cafe mocha and other people singing songs, but its easier to say concert.)

I love my sister Emma. She loves playing with me and I LOVE playing with her.She is the only one that is close to my age . She is 7 and I am 10 so we LOVE playing with each other.We mostly like to play Martha Speaks .That is a TV show and she has a stuffed animal of the dog(The dog talks hahahahahahahahahah its not a joke.) She makes me crack up, my head will crack cause she is so funny!But i surely DO NOT LIKE SAM !!!!!

Valentines Day

Today is Valentines Day! I love this day it is my 3rd favorite holiday. My first is Christmas my second is my B-Day.We get candy my daddy got all the little girls including me, heart boxes with chocolate in them .The kind of chocolate are,Orange filling , Raspberry filling,Chocolate filling and Carmel filling(Carmel was my favorite!!) We also got Sweethearts those are hard candies that say i love you umm be mine and so forth.The last thing was a lolly-pop cherry flavor.It was a really good Valentines Day!

Going to see Twisted sister cupcake truck

Today Caleb, Samuel and I went to cafe mocha. We went to the Twisted sister cupcake truck. It was soooo yummy ! I got Red velvet my mom got some type of strawberry icing 1 and Sam got vanilla icing with chocolate on top ( I think that was kinda FAT of him :) Those cupcakes wear yum yum but they cost 3.00 dollars so all together they wear 9.00 sheesh ):

Cleaning

Today is Friday and that means cleaning . I don't like cleaning at all. My chores are my room, the upstairs bathroom, and the porch . I know it does not sound like that much but trust me they're always messy, but they turn out very clean . Then at night the whole family watches a movie we choose together (well sometimes together ) . My dad sometimes watches the movie with us 'cause he's busy a lot.

Going to Farm Fresh

Today me and my sister went to Farm Fresh. We got some groceries to make Beef Bourguignon. My sister is a great cook so I bet it will taste excellent. Since my dad is not here she is going to put 2 onions (which would have probably killed him!)

My Paintings

Today I did some painting. Well, actually some of them weren't today like the wii dad and the wii grace . These are the paints I was talking about . I love to paint soooo much it's my favorite thing to do. The things I like to paint the most are roses, landscapes, and people.

My Birthday

My birthday was super great. My best friend Bailey came over and I had so much fun. I turned 10, and that's how I got my blog. I got the best presents: a big art kit and from my friend I got a pretty Tinkerbell art kit. I had a strawberry Iced cake and for dinner Chick-fillet. Then, after Dinner my dad and my friend and I played Wii, it was very fun. After my party was done my dad drove my friend home and I went with them. Also, I invited my friend's brother so my brother would not get bored.
